ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCERS
NiCera ultrasonic transducers use piezo ceramic elements capable of transmitting and receiving airborne ultrasonic ‘noise’. When driven from an alternating voltage source of suitable frequency, the piezo ceramic element distorts in proportion to the applied voltage, generating sound waves. Conversely, when the element is exposed to an ultrasonic wave a voltage proportional to its intensity will be generated.
