THERMOPILES

The Thermopile sensor detects the absolute amount of thermal energy emitted from IR radiating body. This form of sensor then generates thermo-electric voltage proportional from the thermal energy that is converted from the incoming infrared radiation power. Thus the Thermopile sensor is an integral output type sensor for the application of the thermo-electromotive force effect.
