This light sensor utilises unique diffusion technology to enable the tightest ever measurement of lighting levels.

Thanks to a special optical filter and and a built-in amplifier, this light sensor sees only visible light between 520–640 nanometres, close to the human eye spectral response of 580 nanometres. This means it is virtually unaffected by adjacent infrared sources, minimising false alarms. Reliable and consistent throughout its long life the light sensor doesn't suffer from drift or ageing. It is available in bandoliered clear epoxy leadwire or surface mount versions.

This light sensor is fully RoHS-compliant and contains no lead or cadmium.
